     The WSJEK is a bulk liquid separator. Its primary function is not to capture tiny particles with extremely high precision, but rather to efficiently remove large amounts of liquid contaminants, such as rust, pipe scale, compressor lubricating oil, and water, from high-pressure compressed gases. In demanding applications such as high-pressure CNG systems and breathing air systems, it plays an indispensable first-line defense role.

1. Extreme Pressure Rating — Built for High Pressure

The WSJEK filter element is specifically designed for systems operating at up to 5,000 psig (approx. 345 bar) . The J-Series housings feature spheroidal graphite cast iron heads and steel bowls, offering an exceptionally robust construction engineered to withstand extreme pressure conditions.

2. Efficient Liquid Contaminant Removal

Utilizing stainless steel wire mesh as the filter media, the element delivers 100 micron filtration with 99%+ efficiency. It is specifically designed to efficiently separate large volumes of liquid water, oil, and solid particles from compressed gases, effectively protecting downstream precision equipment.

3. Rugged Construction — Vibration-Resistant and Secure

The element features internal and external plated carbon steel retainers, providing a 75+ PSID burst rating. It also incorporates a bore seal interface, an anti-vibration shoulder, and an integrated standoff that minimizes element movement, even during severe system pulsations.

4. Reliable Sealing — Zero Leakage

Equipped with FKM (Fluorocarbon) seals, the element offers excellent high-temperature and chemical resistance, ensuring long-term reliable sealing under high-pressure, high-temperature conditions. The head-to-bowl bore seal design further enhances seal integrity.

Bowls can be easily tightened or loosened with a standard socket wrench
