Product Description

Basket filter is a filter element for filter equipment, which is used to remove small amount of solid particles in liquid, which consists of connecting pipe, main pipe, filtration basket, flange, blind flange and fastener, etc. When the liquid flows into the filtration basket through main pipe, solid impurity particles are blocked in the filtration basket, but the clean liquid will flow through the basket and be discharged through sewage outfall. when it needs to be cleaned, unscrew the bottom plug of main pipe, discharge the liquid and disassemble he blind flange, and assembly it again after cleaning.so it is easy to operate and maintain

Basket filters & strainers are normally supplied with spring arrangement at the top of filter element. This will ensure any type of bypassing & confirm the position of basket, even in case of reverse flow. Fluid bypass around the basket is prevented by an optional O'-Ring seal between the basket rim and the housing inside diameter.

• The key part of this kind of the filter is the filter core.The filter core consists of the filter frame and stainless steel wire mesh.The SS wire mesh belongs to the wear parts.It needs a special protection.
• After the filter has worked for some time,it will precipitates a certain amount of the impurities in the filter core.Then the pressure will be increased and the flow speed will be reduced.So we should clean the impurities in the filter core in time.
• When we clean the impurities,we should be careful to assure the SS wire mesh in the filter core will not be deformed or damaged.Otherwise,when you reuse the filter,the impurities of the filtered liquid will not reach to the designed requirement.And the compressors,pump or the instruments will be destroyed.
• Once the SS wire mesh has been found to be deformed or damaged,we should replace it immediately.
