Precision filters, also known as security filters, are designed to intercept small particles of 0.5 microns or more to meet the subsequent requirements for water ingress in sequence I. The precision filter is made of stainless steel 304 or 316L material and is equipped with a PP melt blown filter element inside. Precision filters are usually installed after multi-media pre-treatment filtration and before membrane filtration equipment such as reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration. Used to filter out small substances (such as fine quartz sand, activated carbon particles, etc.) that have been filtered through multiple media, to ensure water quality filtration accuracy and protect membrane filtration components from damage caused by large particles. Operational principle
